More than 117,000 cases of malaria have been reported in the province of Sindh, Pakistan, between January 1 and September 29 of this year. The Hyderabad Division is the most affected with 46,183 cases, followed by Larkana (33,785), Shaheed Benazirabad (13,005), Sukkur (12,058), and Mirpurkhas (10,898). The Karachi Division registered 1,087 cases. More than 1.9 million people were examined. No cases of cerebral malaria were reported.
